Karate Chair by Michel Cadestin for Airborne

This iconic chair is designed by Michel Cadestin for French furniture manufacturer Airborne, circa 1970s.

This lounge chair, referred to as the "Karate" chair, is made of a white molded fiberglass shell with a swivelling base. 

The chair is upholstered in original leather that has stood the test of time and has a wonderful patina.
